Oliver’s Vineyard: The 28 year old vines at this site produce a Chardonnay with beautiful life and energy. Under the skilled hand of Vineyard manager Ben Taylor, this Clone 4 Chardonnay is planted under wide spacing on calcareous sandy clay loam soil. This reduces the yields on a moderately vigorous clone and produces fruit with intense aromatics and lively acid. Talley Farms has a special place in my heart, and we are thrilled to be working with such a distinguished family on the Central Coast.

Rincon Vineyard: Quite possibly the most reputable vineyard in the Talley Farms stellar lineup, Rincon has produced some of the finest wines to ever come out of the Arroyo Grande Valley. My section is located on the West side of Rincon and was planted in 1999.The Robert Young clone grows in Salinas Loam, a relatively dark soil that creates a Chardonnay with minerality, depth and weight on the palate.
